Position: Business Development Manager
Salary: Circa £50k + comm.

Based in the heart of London this independent publishing house has a wealth of notorious authors amongst their portfolio of titles including fiction, children’s books and plenty of best sellers. The Business Development Manager will develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to an agreed annual target. You will remain proactive and responsive to prospective clients. The Business Development Manager will have proven success in their publishing ability, experience of selling to Blue Chip companies at Director level and strong all round communication skills. You will be a confident negotiator, with strong client management skills and organisation skills. A sound understanding of the digital publishing sector would be a distinct advantage and ideally from a book publishing commercial background.
