Our client is a new force in consumer media and publishing and through acquisition publishes some of the best known consumer titles in the UK. The company combines a strong publishing heritage with digital platforms and entrepreneurial flair and with a staff of over 700 staff across the UK, they publish 34 websites and 50 magazines, with over 1 million subscribers, a brand reach of 11 million UK consumers.
Your primary role will be to create bespoke solutions and drive advertorial business for the publication whilst also taking an active part in display, digital and ultimately delivering cross platform partnerships. This role involves selling proactively to clients, agencies and PR companies. As a Senior Sales Executive will be in a team that consists of a Group Head, an art director and editor. They will also help project manage all campaigns and work closely with the editorial team to ensure clients’ briefs are met. A key aspect of this role is working with other revenue streams and other brands to create cross-platform partnerships to maximise revenues and impact.
You should 2/3 years experience in a senior brands solutions role (cross media/creative) as well as some digital experience delivering cross platform solutions. You will be able to demonstrate how you have used your sales skills to package unique and creative solutions for advertisers, showing clearly your creativity, tenaciousness and knowledge of brand solutions/creative selling. You should have great current contacts within media agencies and PRs and ideally have worked within the consumer magazine or press sector.
