Haymarket’s recruitment division is looking for a Sales Manager to manage a team of 7 selling across 3 of the company’s most prestigious titles – PR Week, Media Week and Event. The Sales Manager will lead the team in selling recruitment solutions ranging from simple online job advertising to creative talent attraction campaigns across a portfolio of products. Working within the Brandrepublic Group, this is a rare and highly sought after position. The recruitment division have gone from strength to strength over recent years, hitting budgets and showcasing the leading jobs boards in their chosen fields, and it continues to grow.
The Job:
As the Sales Manager of the PR Week, Media Week & Event team, you will be responsible for driving revenues across the team. You will run the day to day operation of your group, this will include:
Leading from the front – generating your own sales, client meetings and outputs
Coaching & mentoring – managing people at different levels, you will be required to run individual and group training sessions, give at the desk feedback, accompany meetings and listen in to calls. The success of this team will depend upon your ability to effectively train the sales force.
Implementing ideas – immersing yourself in your brands, you will regularly think up revenue generating ideas and deliver on these. You will work closely with the marketing & product development team to further develop your titles.
Forecasting & reporting – You will be responsible for managing your titles’ weekly, monthly and annual forecasts and report back on your performance, This means communicating efficiently both to your managers and to your team.
Day to day – As the Sales Manager you will efficiently run the team’s day to day sales activity, ensuring complete market coverage; through service calls, lead chasing, client response calls across the team; alongside the smooth running of the magazines and websites in your portfolio. You will work to tight deadlines and will be assigned key tasks by your manager.
