A major broadcaster is looking for an International Account Director to join them for 12 months to cover a period of leave.
The role has an international (EMEA) remit so you MUST have experience selling to both agencies and clients direct across Europe and/or Middle East and/or Africa. In this role you will become responsible for generating central revenue by selling on air media, digital media, sponsorships and marketing partnerships across their networks properties. It is a strategic role where you will work closely to maintain and develop business with the client and agency contacts to help reach the International, UK revenue target. Reporting in to the VP you will become responsible for the day to day leadership and running of all client relationships across the UK agency and client business on an international level. Also, along with the other AD, you will work across all International, UK revenue ensuring that the team proactively seek out central revenue as well as receive briefs for all campaigns with a central budget. You will be responsible for pitching, negotiating and closing all deals with guidance and assistance from the VP where necessary. Once secured the AD will be expected, with the help of the Planner, to ensure all the campaigns are managed effectively. - Proven experience in the media industry
- International TV and Digital Sales experience
- The ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation when dealing with client briefs
- Media Literate
- Must be results and sales driven with a history of developing good relationships with clients and agencies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Team focus and team player
