As Global Sales Manager you will report to the Sales Director and be responsible for managing relationships with international clients to ensure advertising targets are achieved or exceeded. Your role will extend to identifying new global business opportunities within your portfolio and working with an Account Executive and our Advertising Operations team to monitor measure and report on digital campaign success for your clients. This role provides a perfect opportunity for proven media sales professional to utilise their digital knowledge, gain exposure to various brand initiatives and understand our innovative advertising network operations and unique behavioural targeting technology.
Key responsibilities include:
-To manage a sales team effectively to ensure sales targets are achieved through new as well as existing international business.
-Sell into the International Agency teams, in London and globally.
-To communitcate regularly with senior agency contacts, key clients and internal stakeholders in order to build and maintain strong relationships.
-To develop product, client and agency strategies that ensure AMG continue to grow their international market share.
-Develop proactive product, category and seasonal sales packages to increase revenue.
-Actively work with the delivery department and management to ensure that campaigns deliver and perform against objectives and maximize margins.
-Contribute as part of the Global Sales management team to the development and implementation of team business strategies and objectives.
-Provide and present accurate weekly update revenue forecasts, initiatives and opportunities across all products on a monthly and quarterly basis.
-Identify training and/or development opportunities for individuals to support business objectives.
-Contribute to trading discussions with senior management/ key contacts.
-Involvement in budgeting discussions.
-Ensure you have all product, marketplace and competitive media information and can effectively work through the sales process to gain business.
The qualities we’re looking for:
-Four years proven online sales ability in a relevant industry role, including digital sales
-Sales management experience.
-Established relationships with media agencies and clients.
-Experience in managing a small team.
-In depth knowledge of the internet and it’s commercial/ marketing benefits.
-Experience in forecasting and budgeting.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Highly developed communication, negotiation and presentation skills (both written and oral).
-Effective problem solver and decision maker.
-Ability to motivate and lead a team.
-Ability to make well balanced business decisions.
-Ability to train and support training processes.
-Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook skills mandatory.
