Country Representative for South Sudan

The Country Representative’s main duty is to provide strategic vision for Fondation Hirondelle in South Sudan while ensuring the best possible coordination between the project management cycle and the media product. His/her work is closely coordinated with the Head of Media and the Project Manager (in headquarters) based on a joint action plan that clearly sets out the respective duties for the Radio Miraya project and all media support’s activities in South Sudan.

Radio Miraya is the United Nations’ radio station in South Sudan, and a joint project between Fondation Hirondelle and the United Nation Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). The Country Representative’s mission is carried out within the scope of the Fondation Hirondelle’s statutory, ethical, strategic and regulatory framework.
