This is a fantastic role with endless opportunities. You will be leading a fast-growing media barter team as the business expands. It is a particularly exciting time to join, as new opportunities are constantly arising. The team is required to work closely with international counterparts on global or pan-European clients.
Your core responsibilities will be to present the company's barter services to media owners and agree terms to expand current media relationships. You will be responsible for leading the team, managing and motivating them to deliver revenue against agreed targets. This role allows the individual to be very flexible in order to deliver against business objectives, although there will be full support and training where required. Other core responsibilities include:
- Expanding current media capabilities Management of current client base and responsibility for overall growth of the UK market Responsibility for the financial targets for the UK and participation in regular reviews of financial targets Develop senior contacts at media owners and media agencies Lead and manage the UK media team Involvement in new business opportunities
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, a high level of UK media experience and knowledge, a prove ability in achieving revenue targets and previous experience of managing a large variety of accounts. The candidate should also possess strong diplomacy and persuasive skills which will be used with clients and media owners at a senior level on a daily basis. Other skills and experience will include:
- A good understanding/experience of barter would be highly beneficial A positive and proactive attitude Proven track record of driving revenue and growth Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to gain trust and build relationships quickly A strong team leader, leading by example and with integrity Excellent written and spoken English with outstanding communication skills Able to present confidently and competently to both individuals and large audiences
