The Role
The UK Sales Team is expanding rapidly as they strive to increase their share of the UK ad market, particularly within their biggest client/ agency patch i.e. Group M.
The purpose of this team is to hit revenue goals by working with advertisers and agencies. This team is responsible for selling all of the products and services that they offer today. This includes Display, DR, Mobile and VOD.
The Agency Sales team is involved downstream in the media planning and buying cycle. Establishing fantastic working relationships with the agency sales teams and EMEA management at all levels is critical to the success of this role, as is externally with Agency Management teams and media Partners
Reporting into the Account Group Leader, this is a vital role within the sales team. Your role will be to maximise revenue coming in from media agencies (Group M) and clients alike. The Group Head will directly run a team off 3-4 people, consisting of sales Managers and sales Executives, so the candidate will need to show leadership qualities, be capable of giving clear directional guidelines and be an effective communicator. The Group Head must have the ability to drive forward the agency relationships and extract the maximum potential from their list of agencies whilst ensuring they retain strong internal relationships with all key departments, including Account Management, Ad Operations and Editorial etc.
Role Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years media experience/ 2 years digital experience
* Demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and ability to develop valuable sales relationships
* Be a strong manager/ team leader/ motivator/ performer
* Proven ability to work cross functionally
* Proven sales skills
