Overview
One of the UK’s premier broadcasting companies are seeking a Sponsorship and Promotions Manager. The S&P Manager will be the content expert within the Agency Sales Team. Working in partnership with other team members, they will drive revenue through their responses to non-spot briefs and the creation of market leading pro-active ideas.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
- To source, identify and secure new business opportunities by stimulating demand for their products through bespoke pitches and presentations
- To work in partnership with the Agency Business Manager to solicit and convert content briefs
- To work in partnership with Client Strategy on a cohesive strategy to maximise the extraction and conversion of new and existing business
- To work in partnership with Strategic Partnerships to drive partnership revenue
- To work in partnership with the Digital Business Manager to ensure all proposals fully exploit the company’s interactive offering
- To ensure Solutions agency revenue is maximise
Solutions Focus
- To work in partnership with Agency Business Managers, Account Managers, Strategic Partnerships, Commercial Programming, Canvas and Solutions Account Management to ensure all Solutions working practices are adhered to
- To accurately report and forecast Solutions revenue
- To have a thorough understanding of the Solutions systems and other sales tools including Atlas, VIS, Ralf etc
- To have a thorough knowledge of all Solutions opportunities across the company
Customer Service
- To build and nurture strong relationships with key agency personnel specific to Solutions
- To achieve the highest possible level of customer service; strive to improve their way of working and exceed customer expectations
- To build and maintain a reputation as a market leader in Solutions
- To deliver value and results to earn customer loyalty by matching customer needs and selling effective and creative content campaigns
Development
- To develop Account Manager/s through objective setting and coaching and feedback
Key Objectives and Behaviours
- Work in partnership with the Agency Business Manager through the sharing of knowledge, leads and opportunities
- Achieve Solutions targets on a monthly basis
- Build long term, quality relationships with agency planning teams and Solutions specific buying teams
- Contribute to the production of an accurate and well researched quarterly business plan.
- Create and analyse agency reports and a quarterly business plan to monitor and identify renewals, leads and any other new business
- To be an expert in all competitor Solutions business
- Attend 3 quality calls per week
- Pro-actively produce and present 4 pitches for new Solutions business per month
- Accurately forecast Solutions monthly spends
- Deliver thorough, professional, high quality customer service
- Demonstrate great creative thinking that result in successful pitch-winning activity
