As Account Director you will drive best practice throughout the marketing campaign development process for ATL, retail and digital initially across European markets but with the view to rapid Global expansion for a multinational FMCG client.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strategic overview of accounts, and proactively advise client on new issues/external environment and contribute to strategic planning meetings with clients
  • Understanding of the Adstream business. See the big picture by grasping how the differing disciplines and processes fit together
  • Ensure Adstream services are applied and running optimally, working with rest of the Adstream team to continually improve these processes
  • Gain a sound knowledge and understanding of clients business, brands and competitive market
  • Work towards leveraging Adstream’s position for other revenue possibilities by building on already established relations
  • Responsible for negotiating and establishing financial arrangements with clients
  • Retain accounts through the development of strong relations with decision-makers and opinion-leaders
  • Participate in the end user testing process throughout the product upgrade
  • Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working relationships
  • Responsible for developing long term strategic programme for account and finalising programme activity with the client
  • Work with global product and support teams to ensure the smooth running of the accounts
  • Escalate trouble-shooting for any issues that may arise in the process of implementation
  • Seek ways to increase efficiency and productivity on assigned accounts
  • Maintain client contact – giving them regular updates
  • Agree and work towards yearly account/personal objectives

Specialist Knowledge\Experience Essential:

  • Proven global client experience
  • Appreciation of the global advertising campaign process
  • Experience executing 360 degree campaigns (ATL, BTL, Digital)
  • Genuinely inspired by the possibility of technology
  • Strategic & analytic
  • Technology literate
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly build credible good relationships with managers, staff and external customers
  • Must be a confident communicator with good written and oral communication
  • Team player
  • Cool head under pressure
  • Excellent problem solving skills

Desirable:

  • FMCG experience
  • Experience of working on workflow based digital solution

IT

  • The expectation is that you can use the full Microsoft Office suite as well as Internet, Skype etc
  • Have an appreciation for digital solutions, able to contribute to internal/external discussions where necessary
