A trade association for a new type of green energy that is commanding huge interest from government and big business. It's a small association and it is growing extremely rapidly and so are its events and advertising/sponsorship revenues.
The Role of Media Sales Executive
As media sales executive you will be given a large amount of autonomy and will be working closely with the Sales Manager to drive forward new revenues.
You will be selling a diverse range of opportunities to large and mid-sized clients from the retail/supermarket sector, to manufacturers, law firms and energy giants. You will be primarily selling advertising (print and online) and exhibition space at their large annual events. Additionally however you will sell conference sponsorship, networking packages and memberships.
There are no call targets or meeting targets. It is a very grown up sales environment. Your commission targets are also very achievable and commission is uncapped.
Requirements for Media Sales Executive
- 12 months+ media sales or event sales experience
- 2:1 or first degree grade
- Intelligent, confident and articulate
- Able to handle responsibility and work proactively
- Consultative approach to sales
- Outgoing and personable
