The company
Our client is a trade association in the newest and hottest sector who are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to support our Sales Manager in event, advertising and membership sales.
They currently have a National Conference, Trade Show and regular member events to sell plus advertising and sponsorship packages online, in a bi-monthly magazine and at events.
The association itself is developing rapidly and has already acquired over 300 members in only 3 years since its launch. their conferences and trade shows have all been overwhelming successes with the trade show doubling in size in just one year. The aim is to build on this reputation and success in the coming years. The industry is ripe for events and advertising opportunities of this nature so an excellent candidate could easily meet the highest target levels.
The role
Your main responsibilities and focus will be membership sales and event sales. You will be selling all opportunities at our forthcoming ADBA National Conference in December and Trade Show in July 2013. This will include selling exhibition space, visitor tickets, sponsorship and advertising opportunities and conference delegate places. The success of the show will be dependent on your ability to reach your targets.
The person
· a hunger and willingness to succeed and achieve targets with bonus incentives
· strong communication skills, with the ability to understand your target market
· a friendly yet professional phone manner, initiating, maintaining and developing relationships with both members and non-members of our organisation
· an interest and enthusiasm to learn about the renewable energy sector
