Group Event Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the world leading exhibition and conference organisers. A highly successful portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, print and digital marketing platforms now requires a GROUP EVENT MANAGER to oversee the strategic development of all its products.
This portfolio has several events both in the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will help develop the commercial development of all their products including a monthly magazine, exhibitions, conferences, website and awards. There is a current sales team of 4 working across the division that you'll be responsible for. You'll need to demonstrate a previous experience of managing close working relationships with the key accounts director, group marketing manager, PR manager and financial analyst. It is also expected that a strong relationship is developed with all JV show partners.
The ideal candidate for this challenging role will have experience of working on UK and international events and wider media sales: Familiarity with the successful geoclone/geoadaption of event brands and the development of digital revenue streams would also be advantageous. You will need to lead from the front and clearly demonstrate the requisite talent, vision, drive and ambition to realise the full potential of our rapidly expanding portfolio of products.
