A very well respected financial publisher is seeking an experienced account manager to join their growing team. The magazine you'll be responsible for is a B2B investment title that is so well known in the industry, every potential client knows the product well. This is a sales orientated position where the emphasis is on account management of their existing client pool.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities in supporting all advertising activities within the monthly publication. This will involve working closely with media agencies to build and maintain relationships and ensure regular updates and information sharing about the company's portfolio and client development are maintained. You'll will be required to manage media agencies closely to ensure that copies are provided, deadlines are met and rates are agreed.
The ability to build credibility is essential to be successful in this role therefore a natural intelligence, an interest in the investment world and the ability to communicate well are of the upmost importance to the client.
You'll need to have
1) 2-3 years experience in Media Sales
2) Proven track record of successful account management
3) An understanding in the financial industry - Investments would be advantageous
4) Good communicator
5) Target driven and highly consultative
