The company

Based in great offices in Central London, our client turns over several hundred million’s in revenue from a diverse portfolio of print, online, and live media, all with the core value of delivering market-leading content to the many verticals that depend on them to keep informed and make the correct business critical decisions.

The portfolio you would be working across consists of a market leading brand with a hugely successful magazine at it’s core having laid the foundations for several decades, from this a very successful series of live events has evolved which now cover the world and they have a foothold on every continent, with exhibitions, conferences, forums and awards covering every sub-section of the market.

The role

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in delivering the long term strategic vision for the business in addition to the day-to-day management and delivery of the businesses’ objectives.

At the heart of the role is the management and development of a sales team comprising five colleagues. Close working relationships with the key accounts director, group marketing manager, PR manager and financial analyst will be critical to the success of this role. Strong working relationships with all the stakeholder groups within the sector and our burgeoning rosta of international partners (both within and external) will also be essential.

The person

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in delivering the long term strategic vision for the business in addition to the day-to-day management and delivery of the businesses’ objectives.

The ideal candidate for this challenging role will have worked on UK and international events and wider media sales: Familiarity with the successful geoadaption of brands and the development of digital revenue streams would also be advantageous. He or she will need to lead from the front and clearly demonstrate the requisite talent, vision, drive and ambition to realise the full potential of our rapidly expanding portfolio of products.
