The company is a well-established, extremely professional market leading publishing company, with products that are number one in the markets that they serve. Over the last year, this leading media business has revamped most of its core products and services, launched new websites, staged new events and won significant new publishing deals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, driven, creative sales person to make their mark in this fantastic company.
The key tasks of the Sales Manager include:
Portfolio selling across associated products including magazine, website, newsletters and bespoke projects
To develop and build upon strong client relationships within the industry to ensure that clients objectives are met and revenue targets are exceeded.
To develop new sales leads and to maintain a database of possible advertisers and to monitor competitive magazines.
The key attributes of the Sales Manager include:
Ideally have 2 to 3 years field sales experience within a b2b publishing environment or have the drive a passion to want the next step up.
Have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
Experience of portfolio selling at all levels coupled with excellent presentation skills
A great understanding of b2b publishing its products and the ability to match them to clients objectives.
