Print, Online and Special Projects
You will be working for a small, successful publishing company that produces well respected industry leading magazines, handbooks, awards and events. This publisher specialises in niche b2b magazines, websites, conferences and bespoke round table events.
The key tasks of the Sales Manager:
You will be selling classified, display and our online offering and driving revenues forward. You will be driven and have excellent face to face presentation skills as this role requires You will be out on the road at least 2 days a week. You will also be required to travel abroad to shows approximately twice a year or as necessary.
You will be selling to blue chip companies, so this position also requires you to be creative and look outside the box to generate revenues.
The key attributes of the Sales Manager include:
The ideal candidate will have a b2b media sales background, with the desire to make your mark.
Creativity, with a demonstrable track record and proven experience of tailoring packages to suit clients objectives.
Experience of key account management and business development selling a b2b portfolio of print, and online.
Face to face presentation skills coupled with a personality to be the face of an industry and develop fantastic relationships when meeting clients and at networking opportunities.
The drive and ambition to deliver revenues by working independently and in a team environment.
The role is based in Kent and is paying £25-27,000 + com.
