Top national press title has a new opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to service Tier 1 media agencies.

The Agency Sales Team sits within the Display Advertising Department. The team is responsible for selling the company`s portfolio of advertising and sponsorship print, online, events and strategic projects to London based media agencies for both UK and International Business.

This super role involves selling the full spectrum of the company`s products to media agencies, preparing sales presentations, creating business cases using research arguments to justify share of spend from clients and putting together creative proposals as well as meeting and exceeding all set revenue targets. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage and grow an existing client base while searching for new areas of revenue generation.

Your main responsibilities will include
To sell the full range of the company`s press and digital offerings
Achieve sales and market share objectives
Selling ‘big ticket` International/UK campaigns to advertisers
Identify and develop new advertising and sponsorship solutions
Identify, nurture and maintain strong agency relationships at all relevant levels
Ensure that knowledge of product and industry development is always up to date
Identify and grow key development clients within allocated agency portfolio
Liaise closely with worldwide colleagues in client and online sales teams based in the UK and globally to promote an integrated sales approach

About you...
You must have sold some digital alongside other media to media agencies
Existing contacts with buyers and strategic planners
Demonstrate the ability to put together a cohesive sales presentation
Extensive knowledge of syndicated sales research
An understanding of B2B and consumer advertising is a necessity

The basic salary is up to £35,000 with a 45% bonus. From large advertiser revenues being committed you will also earn ‘spot bonuses` too. Great location, working environment and many other benefits including healthcare, pension and dental care packages too!
