Salary: £25k+ Commission + Allowance for personal development initiatives +Pension package after 1 year

Our Client:

Thriving creative design company, working on some of the biggest and coolest brands around, requires additional help in their Business Development department.

The job is to play a key role in the continued success of the company by focusing on researching new leads and setting up meetings with potential clients. We're looking for someone with TV, Animation, Video and broadcast experience as this is something the company is moving into more and more and an area the current business development team lacks knowledge.

You will be happy researching new sectors, organising regular insight events,  building their contacts book, managing relationships with clients and dealing with press and helping with the day to day marketing of the business.

The company is based near Old Street and this role is very much being part of the team.  There are opportunities to take more responsibility and grow with the company.

They will be working in a friendly, stimulating and focussed environment.


Probably with one to two years' experience in sales / marketing / business development environment, with proven experience within TV, video or animation.

The individual will need to be articulate, confident, and resilient .

Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

You will have a great work ethic, a positive attitude with a determined approach to researching leads and helping the team to win new business. Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team

An interest in design, digital and culture and interests outside of the office.

Excellent communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.

Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness, drive and motivation.

A proven history of hitting and exceeding targets.

Confident user of new technology.



Ability to identify new business opportunities using relevant research

Using email to warm up prospects and to follow up calls.

Effective calling of prospects to convert into meeting/credential opportunities

Owning and managing the database of contacts, including regular updating.

Assisting with the development of marketing materials.

Using new digital channels to communicate with potential clients (Twitter etc)

Networking at suitable events

Organising Insight events and liaising with clients and speakers.


Working with Business Development team to develop marketing strategies and tactical opportunities

Identifying and attending networking opportunities

Attending meetings, credentials presentations and pitches (in time)
