Our client has launched a new dating site that is one part what you do on a date and one part who you can go on that date with. They have an audience who are actively looking for fun things to do when out and about. Out there are people with blogs and websites writing about fun stuff to do. Building a range of partnerships which will link the two is a central part of what they do.
Massively growing the website site visits and weekly uniques through partnership and affiliate deals.
You'll lead their marketing partnerships and affiliates activity, identifying partners with a strong brand and audience fit, introducing them to the site and getting mutually beneficial deals signed, and then getting them up and running.
You will be expected to create and execute a strategy that runs all the way from some of the country's biggest publishers down to anyone with a blog writing about stuff to do in their city. To do this you'll not only be the external face of our client to their partners, but you'll also work closely with the CEO and product team to develop site features which unlock new partnership opportunities.
You'll have a natural feel for the online space , the skills to communicate effectively, and stacks of creativity to dream up ever more inventive partnership ideas which work as hard for their partners as they do for their members.
You might come from a sales background, but if you do, you'll also have demonstrated creativity and flair in how you find and execute deals. You might come from an affiliate or partnerships role, in which case you'll have shown you're as good at finding partnerships as executing them. Or you might be a marketing whizz with an endless stream of great ideas for their members, and the powers of persuasion needed to get them up and running.
You can do all this while building relationships. You’ll be an ambassador for the brand and our client will want the chance to re engage with partners a few months down the line if this isn’t the right time.
You’ll bring your own ideas on driving traffic.
