You will be working for a well-established, independent, international and expanding publisher. The company publishes magazines on a global scale, holds a variety of websites and also specialises in conferences, awards and exhibitions.
The key tasks of the Head of Events include:
Selling on the existing events portfolio and developing awards, conferences, bespoke events, and exhibitions.
Develop new revenue streams with regards to the events portfolio.
Developing existing accounts and enhancing revenue streams.
Build upon and maintain excellent client relationships ensuring that packages are tailor made to client’s objectives.
The key attributes of the Head of Events include:
Proven experience of working in a sponsorship sales environment would be an advantage, however the key to this role is being able to spot opportunities and have excellent sales ability.
Passionate and knowledgeable with regards to selling creative sponsorship solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and sell at all levels.
Be consultative with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
This role is based in London and is paying up to up to £40,000 + uncapped com ote £60-100k + benefits.
