What is the role?

We are looking for someone to join the FN Advertising Sales team with a view to look to progress within the sales function. Based in London, you will be responsible for the advertising process across both print and digital, providing the full administration required as well as participate in various ad hoc project work.

What is my personal contribution?

Various key requirements across both Print and Digital including:

  • Responsibility for the booking of print advert (in E2)
  • Create Print IO
  • Rate adjustments
  • PPA – Check availability/ provisional reservations (print). Deal with conflicts within teams.
  • Create PDF’s of active advertorials using Etears
  • Carrying out Voucher copies and rate checks as well as the monitoring of company subscriptions
  • Ensure the timely and accurate invoicing to clients building relationships with the relevant teams
  • Remind/Check on/Chase copy
  • Magazine Mail out – maintaining the list
  • Carry out Research on companies/clients/competitors/ articles using Factiva (DJ Product)
  • Creating accounts and ensuring the accurate recording of client, agency, billing contacts in Salesforce
  • Arranging and managing courier service deliveries in an accurate and timely manner
  • Producing Cognos reports
  • Checking the advert copies and recording in
  • Full administration support including scanning, photocopying, binding and other ad hoc admin duties
  • Run reports on clients advertising with competitors (print/online) - Kantar Media (CMR) –
  • Operative One – Create orders/ insertion orders (online)

What do you need from me?

  • Experience within a similar role in print and or digital arena is essential
  • Ability to handle a busy workload in a calm and professional manner being Proactive/Solution oriented
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills – ability to interact with variety of different personalities, not afraid to challenge for follow up information – Both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft office working knowledge
  • Knowledge of CRM system would be advantageous preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to be able to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated , trustworthy and builds confidence with the focus on being proactive/Solution oriented
