Advertising Sales Executive - International B2B sales environment
Bowhead Media Ltd is a privately-owned magazine and exhibition company, operating across a wide range of industries. In order to augement our recent growth, and to continue expanding, we are now seeking to recruit an additional advertising sales executive.

Our approach to work is flexible. Whilst we would prefer the new candidate to be based in our Brighton office, or to work from home. Our CRM system and ongoing support means that either option is feasible for the right candidate. The job is based on an initial 6-month freelance contract, extending to 12 months, and then renewed on 12 month intervals thereafter. For us, it's about getting the right person in the right position. Hours are nominally 9-5, five days per week. Although this is essentially a self-employed position, we do agree with you a suitable amount of "free time" within the contract.
Ideally you will have B2B advertising experience, especially in an international environment, as over 90% of our revenues - and prospective revenues - are derived from outside the UK. You must have a willingness to travel (all expenses paid of course!) globally to attend exhibitions and on sales trips.
You will need to have goood I.T. profiency, and have an excellent command of both written and spoken English. Other languages (particularly SPanish, German, Italian or Chinese) are all a benefit, but not essential.
It goes without saying you must be a proven self-starter, efficient closer and capable of multi-tasking. If you are the right candidate, we will continue to challenge you with exciting opportunities to grow your earnings.
We offer a suitable monthly "retainer", as well as a generous commission scheme to enable you to earn up to £32k OTE. We also then reward over-performance with a generous additional commission scheme.
