UK’s N0.1 OUTDOOR media owner are looking to recruit an Account Manager to work across one of the most prestigious parts of their portfolio Targeting an ABC1 audience you will have the opportunity to present multiple formats including billboards, 6’s & Digital to high ends brands selling to both UK and International agencies.
To gain a thorough understanding of your clients’ business, marketing strategies and media objectives to ensure that outdoor is consistently front of mind.
To gain a sound understanding of the whole the companies portfolio to influence outdoor planning decisions whilst ensuring that the company is perceived as a brand leader
To be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of other media channels to grow outdoor revenue by influencing the multi-media decision.
To liaise with Group Head, Trading, Development, Marketing, and Operations for the smooth transition from responding to a brief to the booking procedure, right through to excellent after sales service.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Sales performance and Revenue
Achieve pre-determined revenue targets
Attendance of weekly sales meetings to give summary of sales activity and opportunities - short and long-term; updates on competitors’ activities and missed advertising spend
Utilise standard industry research tools e.g. Mintel; TGI; BBC Daily Life; Postar; NMR and Touchpoints both to understand consumer behaviour and formulate agency strategies
Implementation of strategies and quarterly review agreed with Group Head.
Sound knowledge of media
Excellent presentation/face to face skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent knowledge of role of the media agency within the planning and implementation process.
Excellent track record of proactive sales approach.
Articulate and persuasive communicator
Good presentation skills essential
Creative and innovative in approach
