Account Manager - Senior Digital Sales
Major independent consumer magazine and digital publishing company needs an experienced Account Manager to join one of the most innovative digital sales teams in the business. Our client is one of the top five companies in consumer media and is widely recognised as an outstanding employer in terms of its brands and of the career and personal development opportunity it provides for its staff. Due to an internal restructure designed to take account of New Platform product development, a number of opportunities have arisen in the company. The role is to join a specialist digital media sales team working across a portfolio of five digital products servicing the technology sector, including a new launch. Further launch activity is planned for 2013 so the role will continue to expand. You will be both generating new business and managing a portfolio of existing partnership relationships from a lucrative client base of international technology manufacturers and their advertising agencies, delivering a cross-platform proposition that includes advertising, sponsorship and creative and cross-media solutions.
* An outstanding track record of success in media sales, at least part of which must include significant experience of creating and selling complex digital media propositions
* Strong agency contacts and proven understanding of and success in agency sales
* Excellent sales and presentation skills
* A good understanding of the technology market
* A true desire to sell, hunger for success, and the gravitas to win the confidence of some of the biggest and most sophisticated advertisers around.
