Travelzoo’s deal experts, in 25 offices around the world, follow a one-of-a-kind process to source, verify and alert subscribers to the very best travel and entertainment offers. Travelzoo is currently looking for a Marketing Executive to focus on subscriber acquisition. The role covers a wide variety of activities:

  • Daily optimisation of all online subscriber acquisition, with continuous focus on ROI
  • Management of media agency relationships
  • Seeking out opportunities directly with suppliers
  • Enhancing our creative output to ensure performance improvements while ensuring brand positioning
  • Working on landing page optimization of sign up pages, both for desktop and mobile
  • Assist in planning and budgeting, coordinate contracts and insertion orders
  • Work on identifying new opportunities and channels for acquisition marketing
  • Work with analytics to assist with campaign optimizations and lifetime value reporting for senior management
  • Carry out email optimizations to improve performance of Travelzoo publications across all platforms
  • Help co-ordinate subscriber feedback sessions and panels
  • Assistance with social media initiatives and campaigns

Your profile

  • Bachelors degree in business/economics, marketing or an analytical subject
  • At least 6 to 12 months’ experience working in a digital marketing role
  • Experience in effectively running online display campaigns (premium & RTB) or PPC is preferable but not essential
  • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, look ups) and quantitative analysis
  • Strong analytical and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and manage workload priorities
  • Confident and proactive approach to technology development
  • Innovative and creative thinker who likes to conceive and implement their own strategies
