A fantastic opportunity has just popped up to work within one of the leading digital teams at a top London based media planning and buying agency.

Intimate and down to earth, one of the top media agencies is looking for an innovative and interpersonal Senior Direct Response Account Manager to lead strategic planning and delivery and drive account business, whilst managing a team.

This agency is keen on investing in their staff; therefore a thirst for learning and a willingness to push the boundaries of the role is desired. Clients for the agency range from the insurance to health industries, who are looking to drive their business from their marketing.

The role involves:
- Developing Direct Response planning strategies
- Identifying trends and consumer insights that inform planning strategies
- Being responsible for financial status of accounts - negotiating and establishing financial arrangements with clients
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective campaign analysts
- Leading at client meetings, contributing to strategic planning meetings and proactively advising them on key issues/crises that may arise
- Building strong relationships within client`s organisation and team
- Organising annual reviews of accounts and working with Director to implement outcomes
- Day to day management of team, ensuring staff ownership and responsibility for projects for team members
- Consistently delivering beyond and above requirements
- Leading and participating new business pitches and projects
- Ensuring team is developing and implementing appropriate strategy according to agency`s standards
- Career development and actively participating in recruitment process

The ideal candidate will be wizened with at least 4-5 years of experience in Direct Response media, with a vast knowledge of various media channels. As a Direct Response Account Manager, you must have a strong personality and be confident, willing to voice suggestions and lead in client meetings. An expert in Direct Response, you will analyse consumer response, and help define forward planning strategies and deliver return on investment. You will be experienced in strengthening client relationships and have great interpersonal skills! A pro-active and entrepreneurial character is a must for this media agency. A team player, you will motivate your team to fulfil their potential and deliver their best, instigating brainstorming sessions to develop strategic direction for accounts. You will have strong organisational and communication skills, and must be highly analytical with great attention to detail. Professionalism is key to this job!
