The agency manage this business across over 60 markets, with London being a Centre of Excellence with specialist skills and capabilities across the region. It is also the home for the EMEA team and the Global Mobile business. It is therefore very high profile account to work on.
The agency have an excellent global and local relationship with the client.
Working as part of the UK team of over 25 and a core planning team of 10, you will report to the Business Director and work alongside a dedicated Strategist, Digital Strategist, Digital Planner and will run one of 2 Account teams with split responsibilities aligned to the client product divisions, following an AD, AM, AE structure. You will have a Manager and Executive as direct reports. They pride themselves on developing some of the best talent in the agency around the business so you will be working alongside a fantastic team
The main requirement of this role is to manage and develop the client relationship and ensure delivery of best in class Media planning and buying:
Creation and delivery of strategy and plans across Paid/Owned/Earned channels Development of media brief and strategy alongside strategist and strong sell into client for campaign briefs c.2 per month and long term approaches
Oversee development of media plans from strategy to implementation and evaluation
Application of broad and digital-specific knowledge and experience
Injection of ideas, innovation and insights into planning assignments
Use of analytics to inform and validate planning
Drive media education and knowledge into planning product and team
Development of strong client relationships – leadership and trust
Develop strong internal and external partner relationships
Personal development of direct reports
Strong experience in media planning/buying
Experience in developing communication strategy and seeing a brief through from start to finish, with an understanding of the information, skills, capabilities required from a team to deliver this effectively
Understanding of the paid, owned and earned ecosystem and experience in leveraging and optimising a brand experience within this
Experience briefing a team of specialists to deliver above approach
Solid and up to date understanding of media and the changing media landscape. Strong digital knowledge especially useful
Ability to explain complex and technical approaches in simple language, that is relevant and meaningful to general marketers
Good knowledge of implementational requirements including, tracking, measurement, optimisation and evaluation
Hunger and curiousity to drive innovation and uptake of emerging platforms and new ideas
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to client needs and evolving briefs and situations
Energy and drive to constantly rise to the challenge
