Digital Sales Manager (SPORT) - media agency or sales background.
Our client is a market leading sport company with a presence across multi channels which ensures, if you love sport, they’re the place to be! Working within their digital team you will be fully responsible for selling to both clients direct and top London media agencies across display, VOD, social, Ipad, mobile and creative solutions. With considerable investment being placed in digital, the company sees this as their real flagship team with some great work across these media channels. You will be pitching regularly to your own core agency patch with the aim of putting digital at the heart of their offering and the scope for creativity across these channels is vast. You will also be responsible for driving internal knowledge of the digital market to ensure not a single opportunity is missed across the business. Your agency patch will include both digital specialists and comms planners and you will be comfortable with providing a truly consultative approach to your clients as a true expert in your field with a real passion to try new things and bring a truly creative pair of eyes to your clients business.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate exceptional digital knowledge where you will have ideally gained exposure across all areas of display, social, mobile, ipad and VOD. If you possess knowledge of some of these areas but not all, the client will still consider you as long as you can show a personal passion and knowledge of the areas where your knowledge is more limited. This experience could come from either a media agency or media owner sales capacity. You will have exceptional telephone and face to face sales skills (or experience of pitching new ideas to clients if coming from the agency side) and will be able to demonstrate brilliant exposure to top 10 media agencies where you have ideally been responsible for your own patch of media agencies and can therefore demonstrate brilliant contacts in the agency world . You will be confident with pitching in a tough market and have a truly consultative approach where you are largely viewed as an expert in your field. You will also be comfortable and confident with being core to the development of the digital team generally and as such will be working closely with a fantastic senior team of people.

There is a degree of flexibility for this role in terms of level and salary.
