Account Manager - Conference Sponsorship Sales
Large and growing international conference organiser needs a talented sponsorship specialist to join a small, experienced team of senior people running a portfolio of large, international conference events in the lucrative energy sector. The role is to sell big ticket sponsorship and exhibition packages a cross a group of established and launch events to a global base of blue chip sponsors in the oil and gas industry. There are significant opportunities for foreign travel with a view to developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships, face to face networking and new business development. Wide opportunities exist to develop new revenue streams from these complex events targeted at a sophisticated international audience.
Outstandingly effective communicators with excellent face to face sales and formal presentation skills are required for these roles. Candidates will need to demonstrate previous success in presenting to large international clients at the highest level, and proven experience of handling big ticket (ie, £100k+) sales. Significant previous experience of conference sponsorship sales is essential, and knowledge of the energy sector is strongly preferred.
