B2B Digital media sales executive, leading role

Londonto £25,000 basic + excellent uncapped commission (OTE £40k+) + benefits, depending on experience

The Pharma Letter, a leader in the provision of up-to-date news, business intelligence, comment and analysis for the global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and generics industry, is seeking a sales executive to work from its London office (South West). 

We are looking to evolve product and develop a number of untapped revenue opportunities and are happy to share in mutual financial success.

The Pharma Letter is supported by Byte9, technology suppliers of market leading digital technology for publishers.

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a role, a product within a leading digital publishing organisation, with opportunities for future development within other B2B titles.   A great role for a forward thinking, entrepreneurial candidate within a fast developing, very profitable company. 

The Pharma letter is the leading title in the sector, with an online profile over twice the size of the nearest competitor, growing fast and shortly re-launching with even greater potential.

We operate in a fast moving digital space and you will learn B2B digital publishing best practice and have the opportunity to shape the evolving product, supporting tools strategy and tactics.

The candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, intelligent and entrepreneurial sales person with proven pre-sales, data & document management and prospect closing experience in the B2B publishing / digital space.

This will be at least your second role and you will be familiar with the tools and process associated to B2B and publishing, lead generation and sales.

Other requirements;

  • UK resident living in London, or within easy reach
  • Degree educated, or equivalent work experience
  • Perfect written and spoken English
  • Excellent social media skills
  • Able to work under pressure, accurately and to a deadline
  • Ability to be part of a physical / remote working team
  • Knowledge of the Pharma and Biotech industry would be a bonus

Skills in brief; revenue opportunity development, telephone sales, data mining & cleansing, lead generation & management, prospect conversion.
