Based in the heart of Surrey, a specialist technology PR agency have a great opportunity for an Account Manager to join their Account Team.
This PR Agency plan and implement effective business to business PR campaigns for technology and telecoms businesses across the globe. Their PR services are specifically tailored to the technology industry to provide a truly beneficial service to all their clients.
You should already have 3-5 years experience under your belt already, and should come from a technology background.
Responsibilities will include:
Utilise all relevant tools in the agency to create media lists, feature track, write and distribute press material and follow up distribution with journalists.
Manage and implement agreed media campaigns with minimal supervision, this will include all aspects of media contact, interviews and writing materials.
You should be seen as an expert in the media field relevant to his/her clients markets.
Have a clear network of media contacts and evidence of proactive contact from journalists
Capable of defining creative media campaigns to meet the strategic client needs.
Capable of defining communications strategy to meet the marketing objectives of the client.
Able to deal with client contact in an effective and efficient manner.
Be courteous and responsive to clients requests.
You will be the regular day to day contact for clients dealing with issues and opportunities to strengthen the clients relationships.
Give clear feedback from clients on strong and positive input to the campaign and knowledge of their industry.
Responsible for reporting.
Capable of managing and driving client relationships, organising meetings, planning sessions.
Deliver strong PR campaigns and develop and strengthen client relationships to establish the agency.
Prioritise individual tasks to ensure all agreed activity is delivered
Prioritise all resources involved in a campaign to ensure campaign activity is delivered in a timely and effective manor
Supervise and coach staff to both deliver on client relationships and help staff to develop new skills
Lead and motivate an account team to achieve successful campaign delivery
Identify new business opportunities and successfully propose PR campaigns that deliver profitable business to the agency
Create campaign proposals to increase current client satisfaction and fee revenue
Deliver agreed plan on time and control the budget of time and money.
