Social Media Editor

Main responsibilities:

This will be your main energy and focus:

  • You will ensure every single piece of content we create contributes towards positioning the agency as thought-leaders in the industry.
  • You will write or commission content and manage the commissioning budget.
  • You will distribute the content. Specific channels include the website, Twitter, Public Twitter, LinkedIn and email lists. Other channels include blogger relationships, industry media and industry networks.
  • You will ensure all content achieves its maximum reach through audience insight, SEO best practice and strategic cross-platform promotion.
  • You will be an active commentator and influencer in the social media industry, attending conferences and staying abreast of trends and innovations.
  • You will report on performance.
  • You will get C-suite marketers follow us on Twitter.
  • Ensure all website information is up to date.
  • Manage all website updates via our CMS.
  • Manage the agency’s social media output.

Skills required:

  • You are a brilliant writer.
  • You probably have a journalistic background.
  • You have a demonstrable passion about the social, cultural and economic impact of social media.
  • You are an influencer in your own right
