A wonderful opportunity for a senior digital comms strategist to shorten their reporting line and influence the planning process earlier. This purely planning role has a direct line to the agency's managing partner so you'll be guiding the account from the very first meeting. This is a medium-sized media agency with a blue-chip roster of clients and as it's independent, you'll get more responsibility earlier and enjoy a greater level of entrepreneurial activity. You'll be reporting to a very experienced digital strategist (almost fifteen years in digital) and being involved in the complete comms strategy you'll have a genuine chance to learn and expand not only your digital knowledge but your overall comms experience too. This is a purely strategic role; no space booking, so you'll have more time for thinking and learning.
We're looking for a senior comms strategist with at least five and probably some years more experience gained in digital and the wider world of marketing. Your last two years should have been working in the UK, as current British market knowledge is key. Please don't apply if this isn't the case. You'll need a deep working knowledge of developments in digital also, from tech giants to start-ups, from content to functionality and proven experience in social media and PR-style content production, community engagement, and demonstrating results in this field. Fluent in analytics and advertising technology practices (including adserving, auction-traded media, dynamic creative, and ad optimisation systems), you must be highly organised, data literate, a confident presenter and be able to persuasively communicate your ideas.
Only applicants with these requirements will be responded to; if you do have them and want to learn more, please send a CV and let us know when it would be convenient to talk.
