The Energy and Environment division of Haymarket is a fast evolving division of the Haymarket Media Group. It has recently completed a programme of brand line extensions, adding many new revenue streams including directories, conferences, online and TV broadcasting.
Globally energy and environment is an exciting sector that has experienced major growth over the last 8 years. These roles do not come up very often and this is a great opportunity to join Haymarket Media Group’s B2B division at an exciting time.
The role will involve the following:
Selling across online directory, display and online display however to start with you will probably be given a project to work, supplements or directory
Identify and build relationships with new clients
You are expected to achieve a high consistent rate of 18 effective sales calls per day.
The majority of this role will be new business development.
You will need to show the following:
Bea self starter with lots of initiative
Able to grasp the basic structure of the international wind sector and the portfolio of products offered
Comfortable with making a high number of cold calls
Organised with excellent time management skills to enable you to sell on several projects at the same time
Can have a business conversation at all levels
Is target driven and motivated by hitting them and going beyond
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Enjoy selling to an international client base
