An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Content and Communications Manager to join this e-retail company. Your role will control all communications across all external and internal media channels. There will be a strong focus on the website as it sits at the heart of the membership community. Ideally they are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the retail media, either web or trade press looking to make the next step. 

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Editorial responsibility for high quality editorial content produced or hosted across all platforms . This will include:
  • Overall responsibility for website content
  • Email and social media content
  • Producing and managing content programme and agenda offering the membership foresight of future topics to be addressed
  • Producing content/insight for solution provider membership
  • All news/insight email, social and website communications to membership
  • Produce editorial content arising from events programme
  • Video interviews with key retailers and solution provider members
  • Work with senior management on the development, implementation and maintenance of the web presence, the PR strategy and social networking strategy.


    • Provide input to development of products including Index reports, market reports and events


    • Provide input for marketing activities
    • Guidance on content to promote attendance at events


    Required profile, skills & experience

    • Highly literate with excellent copy writing skills-an obvious essential
    • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
    • Strong knowledge of, and interest in the e-retail and digital commerce markets and media landscape preferred
    • Confidence to host & chair conference sessions
    • Good contacts with relevant press/media
    • Good understanding of all principle social networks
    • Ability to write and manage a PR strategy-this will also require input from other senior team members
    • Highly organised and ability to work to deadlines
