We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive event sponsorship sales experience, preferably high profile awards ceremonies and exhibitions, to join our busy and growing team based in London. You must have the gravitas to be able to secure high level sponsorship contracts in the region of £350k and will have experience of forging long lasting relationships with high profile consumer brands.
As an Event Sponsorship Sales Manager you will be expected to generate lucrative sponsorship deals but will also have the initiative to build and develop sponsorship packages tailored to meet the client’s needs for both current and future events and exhibitions. You will also demonstrate the capability of developing new, consumer led event campaigns.
This is a pivotal role to the business and the ideal candidate should be a proactive individual who enjoys sourcing commercial partners. You will generate leads and acquire new business, will identify and regain lapsed business and further develop existing business. As an expert Event Sponsorship Manager you will be comfortable preparing and leading client presentations and high level sales pitches on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable sales experience in an Event Sponsorship role and will be an excellent communicator, negotiator, able to present to senior leaders within businesses. You will have a solid understanding of the London market, specifically agencies and direct clients so you can immediately open doors. You will be able to work alone and as part of a team, able to deliver to deadlines and KPI’s.
