Digital Director Objectives:

The Digital Director shall be the digital consultant for their clients and lead and challenge opinion.

The Digital Director will be responsible for building great client relationships.

Help grow the agency through new business and commercialising current client work.

Manage a team of digital enthusiasts.

Consistently deliver best in class digital campaigns across all digital touch-points and channels based on clear objectives and insights. The Digital Client Director shall create long term digital development plans for each client and oversee their implementation.



Digital Client Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The Digital Director shall demonstrate an enterprising and pro-active attitude to all client dealings.

Develop and demonstrate an understanding of your client industry sector, the competitors within that sector and the general industry environment.

Deliver work in an effective and timely manner.

Build relationships with senior level clients .

Act as a digital consultant to key clients.

Manage the day to day operations of your client team and team members.

Establish strong working relationship with key internal stakeholders - senior management and comms teams.

Establish close relationships with key suppliers at a commercial and planning level.

Develop relationships with necessary external agencies on relevant client businesses to ensure integrated approach.

Speak at events, blog and comment in trade press on all things digital.

Activate industry leading and award worthy campaigns



Digital Client Director Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

Substantial experience within digital media.

Be an expert on all things digital; ranging from DMP's and programmatic buying to social and content marketing.

Experience of managing teams and big budget clients.

Be able to demonstrate how you have grown client business and agency revenues.

Experience of planning and delivering digital campaigns that span paid, owned and earned channels linking data, content and technology.

Experience of working with senior clients.

Excellent written, oral presentation and analytics skills.

Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Positive outlook, proven ability to handle pressure.

Excellent knowledge of digital planning and campaign management tools.
