Purpose of the role:

To support the account management team, across this customer magazine and brand communications, providing full administrative and marketing assistance.  This is a varied role, in terms of speaking directly with the client, delivering creative work, raising purchase orders, budget calculations, updating and liaising heavily with suppliers, clients and colleagues. 

As well as managing small projects, the Account Executive is providing essential support to the Account Management team so that campaigns and magazines can be delivered on time, to client specification and to budget, in support of prevailing company objectives.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with creative, studio and other internal departments on a daily basis, to produce artwork that meets the client’s expectations
  • Attention to detail in all areas - i.e. creating contact reports, timing plans, budget trackers, client emails etc
  • Checking leaflets, offers, ensuring accuracy prior to client approval
  • Liaising with client, co-ordinating amends on material
  • Liaising with other agencies, making sure we have the latest images / information
  • Raising purchase orders, conducting all the necessary financial procedures
  • Booking couriers, co-ordinating with photography studio on timings
  • Purchasing items for photo-shoots as and when required
  • Overseeing smaller projects, such as leaflets, from brief to completion
  • Attend and contribute towards team and client meetings as and when required
  • Day-to-day management of account team requests and ensuring all actions are carried out
  • Proactively developing knowledge of the account
  • Collate and evaluate competitor activity and create monthly updates for team to share
  • Working close with the client in a personable and effective way
  • Responsible for ensuring that all quality controls and procedures are in place at all times, and that an audit trail is available for all team members to access in response to any client query

Job Specification:


  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience within a marketing/co-ordination role; ideally achieved within a BTL / integrated agency
  • An understanding of print and production. Preferable knowledge within publishing and Retail environments
  • Graduate educated or equivalent within a marketing related degree. Ideal but not essential
  • Sound Microsoft Office knowledge and capabilities
