Dennis Publishing is looking to hire an expert in the field of programmatic trading to spearhead its sales efforts in this new and exciting area. Reporting to the Head of Online you’ll be responsible for generating revenues from agency group Trading Desks through good sales repping and effective strategy implementation.

Key aims of this role include:

-          Strategy: develop, implement and be responsible for revenue plans and strategies for programmatic trading, data and audience segmentation revenue for the large agency groups and their Trading Desks (TD’s)

-          Pricing; develop a pricing structure for display inventory across programmatic and a data pricing model with 3rd parties using our own data segments

-          Sales: rep the Trading Desks to a) ensure the tech works properly and b) extract briefs and revenues to hit monthly budgets

-          Advocate; be the sales expert in the field of our data management platform and revenue potential from other integrations such as SSP potential

-          Work with the CTO and MD Digital to specify and implement our technology stack to ensure we can identify and sell market leading audience segments

Day to day responsibilities:

-          Day to day sales representative for all agency TD’s for the whole interactive portfolio

-          Ensure campaigns’ pricing and pacing are all on track with agency expectations

-          Liaise daily with Head of Online (and Trading Director) on pipeline of activity, briefs answered and revenue potential

-          Liaise with internal brand teams on briefs received and communicate wins/losses and pipeline

-          Work closely with ad ops and develop a seamless relationship so that every campaign is optimised

-          Be responsible for revenue and work closely with Ad Ops on operational aspects of our technological integrations; our data management platform, our SSP ability and our mobile revenue potential

-          Develop strong revenue strategies by Trading Desk, with a bespoke approach by division

-          Furnish the senior management team with data insights and analysis to back up pricing and packaging of private exchanges, preferred deals and RTB within the programmatic environment

-          Develop strong commercial partnerships with technology suppliers in the data programmatic space

-          Communicate market developments to the wider stakeholder group; new revenue potential, new players in the market and trends
