Business Development Manager – Business Information
£35k + Uncapped Commission + Benefits
Our client is a very unique publisher, digital media owner and business information provider, which caters exclusively to the media industry. It’s used as a fountain of information and inspiration by media professionals around the World. Due to expansion of their client base they are currently looking to add a new member to their business development handling team based in a funky start-up feel office in Central London.
Your role as Business Development Manager will involve speaking with media companies, advertising agencies and clients directly both over the telephone and face to face, talking them through the benefits of partnering with your firm and using the products and services that are on offer. You’ll be tasked with building relationships with clients, generating new streams of revenue and marketing and events participation. You’ll also need to keep up to date with the industry, always keeping an eye on what’s new and what everyone is talking about.
The ideal Business Development Manager will be passionate about the media industry and have the ability to show that. You’ll also need previous business development experience ideally within business information, however we’d also love to hear from anyone working across print, digital, exhibitions, sponsorship or radio advertising sales. We’re also looking for people who are looking to develop a career in sales, have excellent communication skills, confident and able to work well in a team.
