Our client is an innovation research and advisory firm, who help businesses process the world's consumer lifestyle, product and engagement insights, stimulating innovation and growth. They work with professionals in innovation, strategy and marketing roles who are responsible for driving new strategies and product development.
They need a business development professional with the experience and personality to grow their membership base further.
The role requires the ability to understand marketing and design issues a b2c client may have, and position them as a solution to these issues. Their client relationship sometimes extends to an 'advisory service' so the role requires a candidate who is not only experienced with a 'volume' approach to sales, but also able to cultivate longer-term C level relationship.
The Ideal Candidate:
Highly articulate with superb communication
Minimum of 2-years B2B sales experience, ideally with subscription and/or information sales knowledge
Experience selling to, and dealing with, creative businesses
Proven record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
