Salary; £60,000 + comms + car (or car allowance)
A household with brand with a unique offering in the doordrop media arena with an innovative wave of new products incorporating digital and mobile. With outstanding planning, mapping and evaluation departments this company has clear strategy and growth plans. As such they are recruiting for a Business Development Director to put these plans into action.
This is a hands on sales positions with man-management of the sales team across various locations.
*To develop strategy into business development sales plans.
*Develop new revenue streams
*Recruit, retain and manage the business development sales team
*Drive revenue & growth
*Work collaboratively with communications and development teams to build on commercial strategy
To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate the following;
*You must have well established contacts within the media industry, preferable with West-End agencies
*Experience/contacts within either FMCG, Health & Beauty, Retail, Home interest and/or fashion.
*You must be flexible with location; you will be based from different offices on occasion.
*You must be a strategic thinker, with commercial acumen; creative approach and tenacious attitude.
*Naturally provide positive inspiration
*Be able to work alone and collaboratively
*Prepared to challenge and champion strategic selling.
