Senior Sales Executive

Our client is major conference and event Media Company in the financial and mining sector. With a vast experience of the sectors around the world, its mission is to help corporate leaders, bankers and investors chart the course of global business, mining and finance.

The role

Your responsibilities will include leading sales activities for a hugely successful event in the mining sector that shows significant potential.

Maximising on existing channels of business development and developing new channels, your ability to leverage off relationships along with your ability to close deals is key.  This will involve selling a mixture of sponsorship packages and exhibition space and you should have a good ability to sell at both the low and high end – as deal values will range from £10,000 to £40,000. 

Your profile

You must have a least 2 years event/exhibition experience and ideally knowledge of our clients sector, along with the maturity and discipline to take ownership over the event; effectively mapping out who the key buyers and sellers in the market place are, you will be professional in your  approach, intelligent and able to grasp market dynamics quickly. With a consultative style in selling you must be confident in your ability to deal with senior contacts and clients, a positive telephone manner and be able to convey a value proposition clearly, accurately and concisely in both verbal and written communication.
