Senior Sales Executive

Our client is a major player in the world of consumer magazines and websites, with a massive audience reach via over 70 of the most powerful magazine and digital brands in consumer media. Currently they have a vacancy on a glossy women's monthly magazine, the leader in its field, together with its websites and associated brand extensions.
The role is to sell cross-platform propositions to a client base of direct clients in the fashion and lifestyle sectors, and top 20 London agencies. You will be selling print and digital advertising, alongside a wide range of further opportunities that include partnerships, live events, sponsorship and creative solutions.
The role requires high levels of face to face contact with clients and agencies alike, together with a proactive approach to managing your business, whether in prospecting for new opportunities or developing existing clients.
The successful candidate will need a strong background in advertising sales and excellent face to face skills. You will understand how to use data to construct sales arguments, and be adept at preparing sales material for presentation and delivering it in a variety of formats. You will have sold to clients and agencies at all levels and will understand thoroughly how to sell cross-platform packages.
Although previous experience with a major consumer media owner would be an advantage, our client will consider candidates from any media sales discipline and this could be an excellent opportunity for an exceptional B2B salesperson to make the move into the exciting world of consumer media.
