Working across a well-known automotive client, you will lead and shape innovative and forward-thinking strategy across the digital media channels including search and social. Looking to increase their media spend, the clients are looking for innovative and outstanding solutions. This is the right role for a creative independent mind that is looking to challenge the norm and bring original thinking to the table to meet communications and business objectives.

The role involves:

- Drive strategic planning across all channels, especially digital
- Developing and presenting digital strategies and campaign recommendations, based on consumer insights that fulfil above and beyond the client`s interests
- Managing the account team of juniors
- Fostering and maintaining a relationship with media owners and technology vendors
- Driving the digital business across the account base ensuring full integration with external and internal teams
- Having an understanding of the clients business needs

If this role sounds like what you`re looking for, then you will already have proven digital media planning experience. Due to the importance of this key account, you will have a good understanding of direct response metrics and forecasting, as well as Econometrics. As Planning Director, you must have a strong personality and be confident, willing to voice suggestions and be well versed in leading and shaping digital campaigns. You will be creative and resourceful, unafraid to take a revolutionary approach to digital communications! Personable and influential, you will have exceptional client management skills and be willing to challenge and direct your team. A digital expert, you will be current and well-informed of cutting edge advancements in digital and technology industry. Commercially astute, you will define and execute innovation in the digital space. A pro-active and entrepreneurial character is a must for this media agency! You must be able to prioritise and meet deadlines. Strong presentation skills must be your forte! You will have strong organisational and communication skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
