Digital Lead

Central Londonup to £75,000

A leading global media network, present across the world, is looking for a Digital Lead.

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to be the lead consultant across a broad range of digital disciplines (search/social/display/programmatic/content), and the lead on global digital strategy, quality control for delivery of international campaigns and analysis. The role would be 2 key accounts.

Job purpose:


Critical role to manage the delivery and quality of output of the London based specialist teams choreographing strategy, planning and buying for search/social/display/programmatic.

Direct client contact on a regular and daily contact with the London based Strategy team and Paris based Account Team for the client. All work to be completed to a standard that over delivers against the clients expectations.

Client Background:


The account is a high profile client within the agency portfolio. The central team provides global strategic development, guidance and coordination of market teams for the central clients.

The global assignment is paid media with a need to advise across Owned-Earned-Paid and how they fit together Areas of responsibility include thought leadership, planning, digital leadership, social, search, display and delivering media value.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Lead a team of specialists to generate digital strategy, response to briefs, sell in and delivery.
  • Responsible for the development, planning and execution of innovative central digital campaigns for divisional launches ( as part of overall strategic recommendation for Watches/Fashion/Fragrance)
  • Choreography of the diverse digital specialists – organic search, organic social, paid search, paid social, display, programmatic and outcomes Oversee the teams and create a coherent story from their output for each client group.
  • Take the brand/brands and ideas and write them through digital communications architecture to deliver business outcomes.
  • Actively engage with key stakeholders
  • Actively participate in internal weekly status/reporting calls or in meetings
  • Oversee Search, Social and Display team to ensure a high quality of work. Share knowledge and experience to benefit the team.
  • Involvement in the relationships with key media owners & lead developing Digital partnerships.
  • Provide regular updates to client on digital innovation tailored for the Client
  • A game changer on client accounts – can come in and see things others have not and change the direction of play
  • Regular travel to Paris to spend time working closely with the digital client and account team
     

Key skills & knowledge:

  • Enthusiastic, team player with good social and people management skills.
  • Proven experience of integrating search – social and display
  • Gravitas and presence to work with senior clients and challenge them too
  • Proven game changer
  • Know how to plug into the bigger picture and is mindful of the other 70% ( offline activity)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail/Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Pragmatic and is happy to roll up sleeves and get stuck in – a producer
  • Knows how to be the pirate on the inside – make change in big companies
