This role is specifically to work on market leading B2B media brand which dominates its sector and includes a magazine, website and national event.

Media Sales Executive Job description:

The agency now wants to bolster its commercial team and is looking to recruit an advertising sales executive who will play a key role in sales and business development

Specific accountabilities of the role include:

> Sell advertising and sponsorship across publications, digital and events

> Write compelling business proposals 

> Make presentations to clients and media agencies 

> Build excellent relationships with clients

> Work closely with the editorial team to develop commercial opportunities

> Sell and develop advertising and sponsorship contracts

> Client retention and year on year increase in revenues

Media Sales Executive Key Skills Required:

> Demonstrable track record of success in sales

> Experience of publishing and media related business preferred

> Assured and structured sales technique

> Good commercial awareness

> Demonstrable knowledge of marketing 

> Demonstrable knowledge of media marketplace

> Ability to write compelling sales proposals

> Client relationship building skills

> Articulate and persuasive manner

> Confident negotiator

> Numerate, well organised, good IT and admin skills

> Polished, professional and presentable

> Drive, tenacity and enthusiasm 

With sales ability you can earn a salary of up to £40,000 a year in your first year by selling media on our established magazines, websites and events. If this sounds like a role you can contribute towards and you have relevant sales experience please send your CV and covering letter.

We can offer a basic salary of up to £33k per year + commission + benefits + 5 weeks holiday. If you are successful you will quickly earn in excess of £40,000 per year.
