We have a very exciting new opportunity that has just come in!

Our client is a creative customer communications agency, specialising in magazines and digital content. Our client is looking for a highly ambitious Advertising Sales Manager to lead advertising sales for an award-winning FMCG retail magazine.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in selling advertising space for a retail magazine, directly to clients in the FMCG sector.

The role suits someone looking for the next step up in their career. The individual will be a highly proactive person who is able to perform the sales function independently, while working in a close knit team of editors, creatives and account managers. The company is a young, fun and sociable bunch who would like a similar character to join the team. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Proactively selling advertising space in the print and digital editions of the magazine

- Identifying new commercial opportunites to raise revenue for the project, through product placements, advertorials, etc.

- Working closely with the client and the editorial and creative teams to ensure that advertising copy is approved on schedule

- Building and maintaining relationships with brand managers

Ideal candidate: 

- 3 years sales experience 

- 1 year advertising sales experience 

- Experience in Creative Solutions would be a plus! 

As the lead salesperson within the agency, the role also offers the potential to identify and take charge of commercial opportunities across a range of titles.

Salary: up to £33k + OTE
