Technical SEO Specialist - £32k + benefits - chance to join leading independent media agency in heart of London!

A fantastic opportunity for a Technical SEO Executive has just popped up at one of the top planning and buying agencies. This agency is seeking an experienced web developer with a keen interest in SEO to join as technical SEO specialist - auditing, testing and ensuring clients` websites are at the forefront of onsite implementation.

The right candidate will be joining a growing team in the digital department, working on campaigns across an enviable client portfolio in the UK. You will act as the core source of information for the agency and the client, advising on the best SEO strategies and ensuring practices are adhered to. This agency is keen on developing their staff; therefore a thirst for learning and a willingness to push the boundaries of the role is desired. This role is at a well-sought after agency and is not to be missed!

Key responsibilities:

- Perform website audits to highlight problems and ensure websites are properly constructed to maximise search engine visibility
- Build strong relationships with clients`, advising and developing solutions to problems to improve websites` performance
- Recommend and implement on-site technical changes including website architecture, internal link structure, servers, etc.
- Ensure best practices in website production are practiced and know how this relates to search engines
- Keep up to date with latest trends in industry
- Dedicate time to innovation and testing
- Carry out ‘hands-on` changes to commercial websites when needed

About You

- This would suit someone with a Bachelor`s degree with background in Information Technology/ Information Systems/Computer Science.
- You will have technical understanding of internet and search engines and how they rank websites
- Client focused ability to form customer relationships and technical consultancy
- You will posses high analytical skills, and will be comfortable working with core analytics packages and Excel
- Strong understanding of W3C standards, HTML, CSS and one or more programming language such as PHP, Python, Ruby
- Experience working with large websites and familiarity with the common SEO issues (duplicate content, faceted navigation, etc) is desirable
- You will be comfortable working with web servers and running websites
- You will have strong interpersonal communication skills
- You will be proactive and dynamic, whilst managing your workload and keeping to deadlines

The salary is up to £32,000 + benefits. This is a super role!! Not to be missed!!
